Why GABECO?

Gabion is a product after which we expect many years of trouble-free use. The steel structure of the basket is only a small part of the investment, but it has a decisive influence on how long we will enjoy it.

Features of all our products:

• Corrosion protection by hot galvanizing, according to PN-EN ISO 1461.
• Mounting elements that cannot be hot-dip galvanized for technical reasons are made of A2 grade stainless steel.
• Our products are subjected to careful finishing after galvanizing, which greatly facilitates assembly and improves their aesthetics.
• The number and arrangement of elements protecting our gabions against deformation due to high expansion forces guarantees "good form" for many years.
• Transverse elements fastening the gabion, so-called "Braces" have an innovative form of protecting the basket against deformation. The GABECO gabion system ensures stiffness of connecting elements even during temperature changes in summer - winter. It should be remembered that in changing conditions the material works all the time.

• GABECO gabions are constructed of strong welded (non-welded) mesh, which significantly extends their durability. The gabion mesh is made of a horizontal element, which is a 20x8x2 mm channel section (this channel has 5mm diameter holes, and the hole spacing is every 50mm) and a vertical element, which is a steel rod with 4.8mm diameter. The channels are placed every 200mm horizontally; vertical rods are spaced through them at a spacing of 50 mm and carefully, alternately welded by MIG-MAG method in Arg / CO2 gas shield.
• The mesh of our products has a dimension of 200mm x 50mm - this is called standard dimension.
• We do not use any electrolytically galvanized elements.
• The products are carefully packed and protected to avoid damage during transport.
